Some of her comic book appearances were in "One Nation in Dirigible" (Super Goof #36) and in "Goofy & Glory-Bee: The Goofy Trap" (Walt Disney Comics Digest #33), "Goofy & Glory-Bee: Recital Ruckus" (WDCD #39), "Goofy & Glory-Bee: Running for Office" (WDCD #41), "Goofy & Glory-Bee: Inferior Decorator" (WDCD #43) "Goofy & Glory-Bee: Double Your Trouble" (WDCD #50), "Goofy & Glory-Bee: Hero for a Day" (WDCD #53) and in "Goofy & Clarabelle: Goofy's Big Day" ("Walt Disney Showcase: Daisy & Donald" #8). As much humiliation as she endured while chasing Goofy, it's a wonder she didn't disappear sooner. Glory-Bee has virtually disappeared from comics in the USA (it is unknown if she still appears in foreign Disney comics). Perhaps it was during this time that Clarabelle dropped her strange attraction to Goofy, and returned to her former paramour and fiance, Horace Horsecollar. At one point Glory-Bee and Clarabelle Cow were even vying for Goofy's attention, but both failed to achieve their objective (WDS #8). Sylvia Marpole is the head librarian of the State college featured in the 2000 direct-to-video animated film, An Extremely Goofy Movie. Occasionally, however, he did try to impress her, even to the point of trying to reveal his Super Goof identity to her, to no avail.
While it might be difficult to imagine she had a very strong crush on Goofy, he hardly seemed to notice. Glory-Bee is a slender, pretty, blonde, and young dognose lady who, while quite good-natured and likable, tends to be somewhat of an "airhead" (a stereotype of the "dumb blonde"), which may explain why she was dropped from Goofy's storyline altogether (though a better possibility is that Goofy will always be the consummate bachelor).

She was first created by Bill Walsh, and appeared in some "Mickey Mouse" dailies by Floyd Gottfredson, and others written by Del Connell (drawn by Manuel Gonzales). However, she also values family bonds as she watches in hope at the changes transpiring between Max and Goofy throughout the movie.Mouseton Source Glory-Bee was Goofy's girlfriend who first appeared in a Mickey Mouse daily strip on June 19, 1969, often as the headliner character. Aim for positive and lighthearted ways to be silly together and avoid doing or saying anything that might hurt her feelings, like teasing her about something that truly bothers her. If you want to be silly with your girlfriend, try to do spontaneous stuff that will make her laugh. While she is seen as the quiet and well-mannered librarian of the college Max and Goofy attend, she is shown to be a fun-loving and sweet woman on the outside, quickly revealed by Goofy upon meeting her.
